Kerala Folklore Academy, an independent center for cultural affairs, was established by the Govt. of Kerala on 28 june 1995. The main objectives of the Academy are to promote and project the traditional art forms of kerala. Folklore Academy, is located in Chirakkal, Kannur District, Kerala.
